July: It’s a wrap!

Post every day for a month. That’s all you have to do.

So read the simple instructions at National Blog Posting Month.

After one month, I’m happy to report that—with two notable exceptions—I’ve met the challenge of posting something every day.

Here are the exceptions:

1. My days at the family reunion don’t count. No one should have to blog from their iPhone after spending 11 hours on a tour bus.

2. And Wednesday doesn’t count, either. I got roped into a gardening project that bordered on forced labor. On the plus side, I’m now eminently qualified to work as a gravedigger. The downside is that I’m just now regaining the strength to type.

But enough with the excuses. I did my best. And plus, there’s always August!

Speaking of which, please check back tomorrow. August 1 marks the two-year anniversary of the 35W bridge collapse, so I’ll be back with an update on the day’s events.

As for July … it’s a wrap!
