Loch Ness zombie poodle attack

It’s been a big day for weird news.

First, we have the story about Microsoft “erasing” a black man from a photo on their Polish-language website. Wow—so awful, on so many levels. But at least they used Photoshop (badly) instead of their own cheesy WordArt, I guess.

Then, there’s the bit about the Loch Ness Monster sighting on Google Earth. “I couldn’t believe it,” said the security guard who first spotted the image. “It’s just like the descriptions of Nessie.” I suppose he’s right, if the descriptions he’s heard are of a propane tank with five legs.

After that, I came across photographic evidence of why placid pets sometimes snap and rip off their owners’ faces. Repeat after me: A poodle is not a toy. Or a camel. Or a buffalo.

There’s the story about the scholarly study from the University of Ottawa into the likely outcome of a zombie attack. (I hate to be a spoiler, but it doesn’t end well.)

My understanding of zombie biology is that if you manage to decapitate a zombie then it’s dead forever.

Seriously!?

Well, just to round things off, here’s one last snippet of weird news for today:

British Royal Family Concerned After Queen Elizabeth II Beheads 7 Tourists

Amazing how that story from The Onion blends right in. Some days, you’d struggle to make this stuff up.
