I write HBlog for my own amusement, so I don’t worry too much about who’s reading it. But today I noticed a rather surprising statistic: Since May 2009 I’ve had more than 10,000 views.

For most blogs that would be pretty pathetic. But for me, it’s pretty damned cool.

So thanks to my friends Pam and Tom and Craig, who read regularly—and who encourage me to keep writing. And thanks also to my five subscribers (you know who you are).

I still write for my own enjoyment … but it’s nice to think that maybe some folks out there are enjoying HBlog, too.
