I was walking along the Seine on my last night in Paris when I heard the soft strumming of a guitar and laughter coming from the quay below. I paused for a moment to listen, and it was only then that I noticed the people and the soft lights across the river. Everything around me disappeared — the cars and klaxons, the chatter of the passersby — and I was overcome by a profound stillness. It’s because of moments like this that I will always return to Paris.
Snow, indeed! But at least here it doesn’t accumulate, so we don’t have to shovel. 🙂
What a beautiful moment.
I will always return to Paris too. 🙂
Gorgeous photo, methinks I might be sharing that one. I’m glad you’ll keep coming back to Paris (and I’m sure I’m not the only one!) 🙂
Aw, thank you! 🙂
This is beautiful and perfect. XO
What kind and lovely words, Pam. Thank you so much!
P.S. I love the snow. I might linger for a while…..
